Hello, I’m Martyn, an award-winning, London-based Senior Creative/Copywriter with over 14 years of results-driven advertising + marketing experience.

A lover of words and the power behind them, I’m a multifaceted creative whose role encompasses copywriting, concept development, and art direction, often leading teams and managing simultaneous complex projects end-to-end, from initial concepts through to asset production.

Me

I started a degree in English at John Moore’s University in 2007 before dropping out to take a job within the music industry. Working for both big name and independent record labels, I moved to London in 2010 where I worked in sectors as diverse as creative and medical.

In 2018, I decided to go freelance, and in 2020 I moved back to Manchester to work as a Senior Creative for one of Britain’s most prominent clothing + homeware brands. I’m now back in London working as Head of Narrative Strategy for a global fashion brand.
